We met face-to-face for the first time because we worked in the same place at the same place, but after meeting my wife, we learned that our paths crossed several times. I first heard her name in 2001 when I applied for lateral transfer to Ankara University Faculty of Law.
My wife applied to Ankara University Faculty of Law to transfer from the Near East University Faculty of Law, and I applied to transfer from the Faculty of Law of Eskişehir University, we were both top of the school, but when I went to find out the result, I learned that she was taken, not mine, and I got very angry and said, I cried. However, I forgot his name later on, the first place I worked was in the Saimbeyli district of Adana province. A very sincere friend of my wife was appointed to our district as a prosecutor, and even my wife came to the district with her friend, but we could not meet my wife because I was on leave, but we talked on the phone a few times to consult on professional issues, then my wife's friend thought that we were suitable for each other and invited my wife to meet me face to face. However, my wife did not come by saying, “Is it possible to come from Kelkit to Saimbeyli to see a girl?”, then I was appointed to my wife's side in 2010, although I did not have any preference, and we met face-to-face on 10.10.2010.
* How did you decide to get married?
About 6-7 months after I met my wife, we started talking about the furniture of our house. Although my husband and I are far from marriage, we also realized that we are making preparations for marriage .
* Have you done any research on wedding dresses before?
Wedding dress was one of the most sensitive issues in the marriage process, like most of the ladies, and I looked at many wedding dress models from magazines on the internet, I wanted a simple and modern wedding dress and I thought that I could not find the wedding dress I wanted until I saw the model drawn by Çağnur Karuserci in DreamON . * Was there a wedding dress you dreamed of as a child?
The wedding dress I dreamed of as a child was a wedding dress model with a fluffy long tail veil and similar to the princess dresses described in fairy tales.
* How did you feel when you put on the wedding dress and left the house?
I don't remember very clearly because I was very excited that day and everything happened so fast. I remember my mother's and my sisters' tears of joy and their hugs. That's all I remember.
* How do you feel when you put on your wedding dress and look in the mirror?
On the wedding day, I had a bad feeling that something was going to go wrong. However, when I wore my wedding dress and saw the happy expression on the faces of my mother, sisters and friends, I realized that the wedding dress suited me very well. After the minute I didn't even care about the details that went bad for the rest of the day and I had a great day.
* Can you share the most exciting and saddest moments of your wedding?
The most exciting moment was seeing my wife at the door of the hairdresser while I was wearing my wedding dress and leaving the hairdresser. Because it was the first time she saw me in a wedding dress, the saddest moment was seeing my family off after the wedding.
* Is there any custom that you find interesting during the wedding preparations ?
Since my wife and I are not people who are fond of traditions, our families did not insist that we fulfill their customs and traditions.
* Did you realize your dream wedding?
We wanted everything to be very simple and elegant. It turned out exactly as we wanted.
* What was the reaction of your spouse when he first saw you in a wedding dress?
My wife was also very excited that day, but when she saw me, I understood that she liked me from the surprise and smile on her face.
* What does the word marriage mean to you?
For me, the concept of marriage has two different meanings, before and after marriage. When you find the right person, you suddenly overcome your prejudices. Before I met my wife, marriage seemed like a very ordinary concept, but after meeting, marriage; it started to feel like an institution invented for me. The idea of being with the person you love for a lifetime is amazing.
