What is the Thyroid Diet?
Dieting is something that almost every woman does, both for short and long term. When there are options that do not work in the body, you either cannot lose weight or gain weight. One of these conditions is thyroid. Thyroid patients generally either cannot lose weight or gain weight. When the thyroid gland is underactive, less thyroid hormones are secreted, which prevents you from losing weight. Since thyroid disease causes a slowdown in metabolic rate, this slowdown prevents you from losing weight. If you have thyroid disease and cannot lose weight, we would like to tell you about some things you should do. If you have thyroid disease:
· Move more,
· Increase your water consumption,
· Consume dried legumes and fiber-rich foods,
· Eat 3 main meals and 1 snack and be sure to get support from a dietician.
If you have thyroid disease, consume zinc-rich foods such as cheese, chicken and eggs. Stay away from foods such as broccoli, radish and cabbage. Stay away from sugar, packaged foods, alcohol and cigarettes. If you like to consume caffeine-rich drinks such as tea and coffee, consume no more than 2 cups a day.
