Why Brides Wear Veils

Although its past history is not known exactly, the veil has been used recently because it is considered as the most important accessory that completes the wedding dress .
While choosing a veil, brides -to-be make their choices by paying attention to its harmony with the wedding dress , its length or shortness, and the details of embroidery. In our tradition, the veil represents the moment when the groom will see the bride for the first time.
After the wedding, when the couples go home, the groom has to give the bride a gift called a "face-dress" to open the veil. It could be a ring, bracelet, or an accessory left behind by family.
Why Wire Veil
In previous years, brides used an accessory made of silvery wire that extended from their hair to their waist. The reason for this was that single girls of marriageable age would pluck these wires, the shorter these wires were, the shorter the marriage meant, just as in the tradition of throwing shoes and flowers.
